Biden’s Proposed Seaport Pier to Aid Starving Gaza is a Despicable Trojan Horse

Biden’s Proposed Seaport Pier to Aid Starving Gaza is a Despicable Trojan Horse

In his recent State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden tried to hoodwink compassionate U.S. citizens by unveiling a plan to transport food to starving Gaza residents through a temporary pier that Navy supply ships could embark. Biden is learning that his supplying bombs to Israel for its genocidal assault in Gaza is not playing well in key electoral states. Biden thinks he can dupe idiot voters. In an hour, the U.S. could open the gates to the hundreds of food aid trucks stalled at Gaza borders by Israel. Simply march the trucks in under Biden’s orders. Would Israel… Read More

American Empire Trying to Muzzle War Opponents

American Empire Trying to Muzzle War Opponents

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) is the premier media voice of U.S. finance investment. War is profitable for arms manufacturers, for example. Currently the WSJ is trying to shame and badger the large Arab-American population in Dearborn, Michigan, that are refusing to support Biden in his candidacy for reelection as President due to his supporting Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza. Michigan is considered a key swing state in the upcoming Presidential election. The WSJ moans that Arab-American voters’ pressure on Biden are influencing foreign policy. See this article for details. Sheesh. WSJ basically is saying that everyday common voters should… Read More

Israeli siege has placed Gazans at risk of starvation − prewar policies made them vulnerable in the first place

Violence is atat a gutter moral level when children are purposely starved to emancipation. Even before the brutal Hamas attack on October 7, the nutrition available for most Gaza residents was at a level just above starvation, as purposely planned by Israel which governs what food is imported into Gaza.It is painful for parents to hear their children clamor for food, see them stuff grass and inedible items into their mouths, and to see their listless faces as their bodies begin to shutdown for lack of nutrition. And because of the long-term effects of malnutrition, these children are already stunted… Read More

Empathizing with Both Israel and Palestinian Victims of Violence

Empathizing with Both Israel and Palestinian Victims of Violence

In 2005, 2006, 2008, I lived with Palestinians in the West Bank in the maelstrom of Jewish settler violence. I was a trained member of Christian Peacemaker Teams. We worked along with Jewish peace activists and their organizations. So I have empathy for Palestinians who suffer from violence and oppression. I also have empathy for Jews who also have suffered horrendous violent persecution, with hatred against them still prevalent. So many Jews see the state of Israel as a haven.See this insightful article by pastor Jonny Rashid that says what I feel.
